On Sunday, August 13, WNY Muslims presents “A Fusion of Culture and Health at WNY Health Fair 2023 and 76th Anniversary of the Independence Day of Pakistan.”
The entire WNY community is invited to attend this culturally significant festival, as it embarks upon an uplifting day featuring a fashion show, a kid’s costume exhibition, a curated array of vendors offering indigenous cuisine, ethnic attire, traditional jewelry, henna tattoo artistry, and diverse shopping.
This extraordinary event is more than a mere gathering; it is an opportunity to celebrate heritage, inspire unity, and promote inclusivity.
One of the festival mainstays is the Pakistan Day Parade, which is being held thanks to close ties with Western New York Community Health Center (WNYCHC), Olive Tree Family Services (OTFS), Desi Varsa, and American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC), Buffalo Chapter. The parade will commence at noon – it will depart from Williamsville South High School and lead to the heart of the festivities at Island Park, Williamsville.
