GENESEE COUNTY, MI – Genesee Health System (GHS) will host three upcoming Community Talks to share updates regarding its move to a new building, an overview of services and future plans.
GHS announced in June that it’d purchased the former Baker College Undergraduate Building and Library – Flint campus to become the New GHS Main Campus.
All staff and services currently at 420 W. Fifth Ave. in Flint will move to the new main campus located in Flint Township.

Baker College announced in 2019 that they’d be closing the Flint Township campus by 2020 and move operations to Owosso in Shiawassee County.
Community talks are scheduled as follows:
The first of three community talk sessions will take 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, August 10, at the Burton Senior Center, 3410 S. Grand Traverse St. in Burton.
Those who cannot make the session on August 10, have another opportunity from 5:30-7 P.M. on Wednesday, August 23, at the Flint Central Church of Nazarene, 1261 Bristol Road in Flint.
The final session is set for 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, at Bristol Road Church of Christ, 1315 Bristol Road in Flint.
Genesee Health System provides services and support for individuals in Genesee County with mental health and substance use disorder treatment, intellectual disabilities and primary health care needs.
